After touring the ancient palaces, Hindu temple and Buddhist Stupas of Kathmandu valley, we take scenic flight to Lhasa over the Everest and excellent Tibetan landscape. This is probably the best flight to see the Himalaya and Lakes of Tibet. We will then explore great palaces, monasteries and temples in Tibet before driving towards Everest.

After visiting Yamdrok Lake, Gyantse and Shigatse we trek through the, little visitted, Kangsung Valley to the East Everest Base Camp situated below the awesome Khangsung (East) Face of Mt. Everest. Enjoy 12 days trekking up the beautiful valley rich in vegetation and flowers over high passes to Phetang Ringmo situated in an alpine valley below the East Face of Mount Everest. Also includes a visit to Rongbuk Monastery and hike to North Everest Base Camp. Tour ends with the spectacular trans-Himalayan drive along the Friendship Highway from Tibet to Kathmandu , Nepal .
